Downtime

Tumblr has been down for about 3 hours now. I hate it when sites are down. The very worst is when something really "important", like Gmail or Twitter, is down. Then you can't do anything.  But there is something even worse than that: when your computer won't turn on.

Earlier today, I thought I should make a custom default avatar for commenters on my tumblelog.  So I worked for several hours, and I came up with this.

Yes, I know it's not that good, but it's the best I could do.  Anywho, after posting it on my tumblelog to show it off, my friend Sir Jacob D. Fredrickson asked me if I wanted him to make a better version.  I said yes, and sent him an unedited pic.  After a while, he sent me this.He says it took him eleven minutes in Photoshop CS5.  "I gotta get me some o' that!"Your editor,Brovie.

For a few good reasons that I cannot think up at this point (mostly because I am copy-catting Jacob D. Fredrickson), I am adding Disqus commenting to this blog.  I think some of the reasoning is you can sign in from different accounts, like Facebook or Twitter, and comment as that persona.  Also, I like to muck about in coding.  Well, anyways, enjoy.  Besides, I haven't posted in a while anyway.  Hi.

The Ballad of Late Packing

In 2 days, I will be going to China!  The main reason my family is going to China is because my sister was born there.  We will go to Beijing (the capital, duh) and Kunming (where my sister's orphanage is).
